we look back with
thankfulness to God
Jesus’s final words to His disciples make it clear that this is the continuing responsibility of His Church. As the Father sent Christ, so He sends His followers out to continue His Gospel ministry (John 20:21). That remains our task today.
We share the burden of our friends across our mission field to reach many thousands more who have never heard the Gospel. Therefore, we want to mark the 70th anniversary of SGA(UK) by supporting the sending of 70 additional evangelists into God’s harvest field.
Some of these are already busy in Gospel ministry on the harvest field and need your support. Others are being prepared for that ministry and will be sent to share Christ with those living in false religious hope.
This is an ambitious undertaking, one of the largest single projects SGA(UK) has ever put in place. However, God’s faithfulness over the last 70 years motivates us to find support for 70 new Gospel workers. With your help, we believe our anniversary celebrations can be the cause of real Gospel advancement in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Far East Russia.
how will
they hear?
A small selection of the men currently in need of support. While their contexts and circumstances may differ, their overall aim remains the same – to bring the Gospel of hope to those who have never heard the truth of Jesus Christ.

Peter Osmochescu
UKRAINE
Peter is part of a church planting team reaching out to an economically deprived people group in southern Ukraine. He is the only evangelical witness in a town of 8,000 people within a region targeted by the cults.
Ervin Mittelmann
SLOVAK
Ervin serves as a pastor in the second largest city in Slovakia. 240,000 people live in Kosice but evangelicals only make up 0.4% of the population. Ervin’s vision is to plant more churches in Kosice and beyond.
Galym Tolekeey
KAZAKHSTAN
Wonderfully converted from a Muslim background, Galym is now seeking to bring the Gospel to his own people. In that Muslim context the church is growing among the Kazakh people.
Vladimar Chernyshkov
TAJIKISTAN
Saved while in prison, Vladimir is reaching out to ethic Muslims in northern Tajikistan. He has known opposition and been personally threatened, but praises God for Gospel progress.
Grigoriy Andreyanov
FAR EAST RUSSIA
Converted while in the Russian army, Grigorly is joint pastor of a ‘mother church’ and serves in a further four church planting situations. While the work faces many practical and spiritual challenges, Grigorly rejoices in answered prayers and spiritual growth.
Vlad Lecari
MOLDOVA
A former student of the SGA Mission School in Balti, Vlad serves as an evangelist and church worker in two villages. Sponsorship would enable Vlad to remain in Moldova and not work abroad in order to support his family.
Liviu Molcut
ROMANIA
A graduate of SGA’s ‘School of the Prophets’ Liviu is a pastor of two rural churches with a heart for evangelism and church planting. He has very little financial support, but one trusted partner of SGA stated, ‘he is a faithful brother in the Lord’s ministry’.
Nenad Kalaji
SERBIA
Nenad is a church planter who has recently established a new fellowship among the Roma people in the large Serbian village of Uljma. He rejoices in the blessings and growth evident in the baptisms and opportunities which have opened up for him.
