Severe fires in the Lugansk area of east Ukraine destroyed the House of Prayer in Syrotino village. Christian leaders from this war-torn area reported:
‘More than 200 households were destroyed at Syrotino settlement, including the House of Prayer…’
Believers have been working hard to restore the building, especially to put the roof on and install windows. Local churches are helping financially and practically. The building will serve as a meeting place for the church, and a Christian rehabilitation centre.
SGA has responded by sending financial help which we pray will encourage the believers there who minister in acutely difficult circumstances.
Our partners recently reported that the roofing materials, doors and windows have been purchased and installed. Fourteen brothers from another region of Ukraine have worked on the roof installation.
