Amazing Developments!

The challenges brought by COVID 19 are many. In East Ukraine Coronavirus is a serious, unwelcome burden on the lives of those still caught up in a bitter 7-year conflict. Ukrainian churches are serving their people by providing food, medicine, warm clothing, heaters and other practical helps. SGA has helped to fund such initiatives, and people’s physical needs are being addressed.

Even more encouragingly, God has used this practical ministry to break down prejudices and extend His Kingdom. Two Gospel churches were planted last October in the war-torn Donetsk region, and two Houses of Prayer established, where previously there were none. The believers are convinced that humanitarian aid provided by Christians was used by God to prepare the way for people’s greatest need being met in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Continue to remember this practical ministry in Eastern Ukraine, and pray that it will continue to be used by God to relieve physical need and to bring spiritual blessing in salvation.
